The staff was helpful and we will be returning here soon. The hotel had a central position close enough to a filthy back alley surrounded by bins fag ends and extraction vent pipes, good restaurants, and the pub.

Great choice for a weekend getaway with very friendly and helpful staff who greeted us with a smile, an immaculate room that was compact yet cozy with a comfortable bed, and complimentary prosecco and a drink on arrival.

The place is right on the seafront, the location is amazing, the bed was comfortable, there's a quick meal option nearby, and I didn't want to leave after staying for 3 days - I would definitely visit again.

The room was neat and immaculate. The location was brilliant - just 5 minutes' walk from Whitby Abbey. The bar was busy with nice and exceptional staff.

The Buck Inn provided a fantastic location with excellent character. The room, though small, was cleverly designed with good storage for clothes. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surfaces were clean. Despite the small bathroom, the space was well-utilized. The room was warm, perfect for winter stays. The back-facing room had a private view with frosted windows and good curtains for privacy. The complimentary tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch. Additionally, the car park at the back of the hotel was conveniently located just steps away from the paid car park, making it unnecessary to pay.
